Motorcycle Lifestyle

Motorcycle Riding History
Alonzo: My motorcycle journey started off watching a childhood friend ride a mini bike. Watching him ride made me want to ride.

Why Alonzo Rides

Funny Motorcycle Story
Alonzo: I was riding on the highway in 65ºF rainy weather for over two hours. When I finally arrived to my destination and stopped, I suddenly realized my legs had gone numb.
Keep in mind… 65ºF on a motorcycle has a wind chill of about 45ºF.

Motorcycle Story Continued…
I had no feeling in my legs… and it felt like my right leg was completely gone. I mean, I couldn’t even stand up. After I stopped, immediately the bike fell to the ground.

Funny Story Continued…
Good thing my nephew was present… his quick action in helping to catch the bike made it a funny story.

Lesson Learned
Alonzo: The Lesson… riding in cold weather requires additional riding breaks to keep the blood flowing.

The Blessing
Alonzo: The Blessing… I didn’t get hurt, and that was the only time I’ve laid my bike down.

Favorite Biker Saying
Alonzo: My favorite saying is “Ride Like The Wind”… I love the feeling of powering through on the highway and the fast movement of the wind around me.

“Piloting a Motorcycle is Like Flying… All Your Senses Are Alive. You’re Free of The Gravity of What People Think.”

Motorcycle Lifestyle

Toughest Motorcycle Ride
Alonzo: One day it was 85º and I decided to ride an hour away to New York. The temperature dropped to 60º and then it began to rain. The cold, rain and darkness made a miserable ride back home.

Advice To New Riders
Alonzo: Take the motorcycle training course. The knowledge you receive in the class is very important and you receive the confidence needed to safely operate a motorcycle.

Favorite Charity
Alonzo: I’d like to give a shout out to Make A Wish Foundation – committed to creating life changing wishes for children with critical issues.
